Synopsis
ErinMulder began the evening with a 10-minute live rails walkthrough, and then moved on to lots of code examples for everything from ActiveRecord relationships to validations to pagination. Then we took a break to eat and get to know each other. At this point, there were about 40 people engaged in various conversation groups around the room. Much fun was had by all. Next, RonLusk led us through the installation and configuration of SwitchTower, a Rails deployment tool. This was followed by a lot more conversation, with some people chatting until almost midnight!
